Since 1990, we have provided compassionate, high-quality in-home care that empowers seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities to remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.

Meet the Team

Missy Hines

Owner
Missy became the owner of Golden Heart Home Health Services, LLC on January 1, 2025, following the retirement of Golden Heart’s founder, Sue Grattan. Prior to taking ownership, Missy worked alongside Sue for eleven years and served in numerous roles throughout the agency, including Director of Operations, Intake Specialist, Supervisory Professional, and direct-care PCA.

With more than 21 years of experience in home and community-based services, Missy brings both hands-on knowledge and leadership experience to Golden Heart. Having worked at nearly every level of the agency, she understands the importance of supporting not only the individuals and families we serve, but also the caregivers and office professionals who make that care possible.

Missy leads Golden Heart with a strong commitment to person-centered care, integrity, accountability, and compassion. She remains actively involved in the agency and is passionate about ensuring Golden Heart continues to provide dependable, high-quality services while staying true to the values on which it was built.

Outside of Golden Heart, Missy enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason, their children, and their dogs.

Hailey Grattan

Director of Operations and Disability Specialist
Hailey Grattan serves as Golden Heart’s Director of Operations and Disability Specialist, and as Missy’s daughter, she is part of the strong family foundation that makes Golden Heart truly a family-run organization. Hailey has been with Golden Heart for nine years, beginning as a PCA before advancing into the field as an Intake Specialist and earning her certification as a Supervisory Professional (formerly Qualified Professional) in 2021. In her role, Hailey oversees day-to-day operations, supports staff and clients, and ensures compliance with state and federal guidelines. She works closely with the office team to review client needs, guide service planning, and maintain the quality and integrity of care provided across the organization. Her leadership is hands-on, focused on problem-solving, advocacy, and supporting both caregivers and the families they serve. Her experience, compassion, and dedication make her an essential part of Golden Heart’s continued growth and success. Outside of work, Hailey enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, attending dirt track races, and spending time with her dogs.

Sue Grattan

Founder & Former Owner
Sue Grattan is the founder and former owner of Golden Heart Home Health Services, LLC. After more than 25 years of experience in the field, Sue retired on January 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy built on compassion, dedication, and a commitment to serving others.

With a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Sue is a Supervisory Professional and Disability Specialist whose knowledge and leadership helped shape Golden Heart into the agency it is today. Her dedication to the individuals and families Golden Heart serves continues to be an important part of the foundation and values of the company.

Sue is now enjoying her well-earned retirement, while her legacy continues through the mission and work of Golden Heart Home Health Services.

Megan Gage

Office Manager and Designated Biller
Megan is our dedicated Office Manager and Designated Biller at Golden Heart, Megan has been an integral part of our team for the past ten years. Her career in the home care field began in 2006, giving her nearly two decades of hands-on experience and industry knowledge. In 2023, she earned her certification as a Supervisory Professional (formerly Qualified Professional), further expanding her expertise and leadership skills. Megan is known for her organization, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to ensuring both clients and staff receive the support they need to thrive. Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason, and their daughters, Jocelyn and McKinley, making memories together as a family.

Dawn Larson

Office Clerk
Dawn has been a dedicated member of the Golden Heart team for more than ten years and serves as our Office Clerk. With years of experience both in the office and providing direct care, Dawn brings a valuable understanding of Golden Heart from multiple perspectives.

Dawn supports many areas of our day-to-day operations, including organizing and preparing paperwork, maintaining records, assisting with annual documentation, filing, and providing support wherever it is needed throughout the office. Her willingness to lend a hand, attention to detail, and extensive knowledge of our agency make her an invaluable part of the Golden Heart team.

Outside of work, Dawn enjoys spending time with her husband, Dean, her children, and her grandchildren.

Julie Vroman

Payroll Specialist
Julie has been a dedicated member of the Golden Heart team for more than ten years and serves as our Payroll Specialist. In addition to managing payroll, Julie assists with data entry and carefully tracks service information to help ensure records remain accurate, organized, and up to date.

Her attention to detail, consistency, and organization make her an essential part of our day-to-day operations. From processing payroll to keeping important information on track behind the scenes, Julie is one of those people who helps keep Golden Heart running like a “well-oiled Swiss clock.”

Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and cats.

Megan Geib

Support Biller & Supervisory Professional
Megan has been a valued member of the Golden Heart team for more than two years and serves as our Intake Specialist and a Supervisory Professional. She plays an important role in welcoming new clients and caregivers to Golden Heart and helping guide them through the intake and onboarding process.

Having previously worked as a PCA, Megan brings firsthand caregiving experience and a strong understanding of the individuals and families we serve. She works closely with clients, caregivers, and our office team each day, providing support, answering questions, and helping ensure information and documentation are organized throughout the intake process. Megan also coordinates closely with our Registered Nurse when nursing oversight, training, or additional clinical support is needed.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her children and fishing.

Sheila Guzman

Support Biller & Supervisory Professional
Sheila is our support biller and supervisory professional, bringing 5 years of experience with Golden Heart. Her expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy make her a valued asset to our team and an essential part of keeping everything running smoothly. Outside of work, Sheila enjoys spending time with her family and her granddaughter, cherishing every moment with them.

Trevor Schuety

Compliance Coordinator
Trevor joined the Golden Heart team in 2026, bringing five years of experience to his role. He quickly became an important part of our day-to-day operations.

As Compliance Coordinator, Trevor works closely with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), compliance, audit organization, and app navigation. He helps ensure required documentation is organized and assists caregivers with navigating EVV requirements and troubleshooting issues. Trevor also supports general office operations, including phone calls and emails, and is always willing to step in wherever needed.

Outside of work, Trevor enjoys spending time with family and friends, weightlifting, and golfing.
